Privacy policy

Your data is controlled by PlusPoint. Questions about it go to pluspointprep@gmail.com. We handle personal data in line with the personal data law that applies to us.

• Your account. If you sign in with Google: your name, email address and Google profile photo. If your school created your account: the login and name we created for you and gave to your school, and your school and class. Passwords are stored only in scrambled (hashed) form; nobody at PlusPoint can read them.
• Your profile. The display name, photo and SAT test date you choose to add in Settings, and your choice of AI tutor.
• Your studying. The answers you give, how long you take, questions you mark for review, flashcard progress, starting tests and check-ins. This is what the platform uses to choose your next questions and estimate your score range.
• AI tutor use. We count how many questions you ask the tutor. We do not keep the text of your messages.
• Payments. Which plan you bought, when, for how much, until when it lasts, and the payment provider’s reference for it. Bank and card details are handled only by the payment provider; we never see them.
• Technical data. Our hosting provider keeps short-lived server logs (such as IP address and browser type) to keep the site running and secure.

• To run your account and give you the access your plan includes.
• To adapt practice to you and show your progress and estimated score range.
• To apply the free plan limits and check the score guarantee conditions.
• To answer you when you write to us.

We do not use your data for advertising, and we do not sell or rent it to anyone.

• Other students never see your name, email, answers or progress.
• Your teachers, if your school gave you your account, see your progress and answers. Teachers never see students from other schools, and never see students who signed up on their own.
• The PlusPoint administrator can see account details and activity, to provide support and manage plans.

We use only the cookies needed to keep you signed in. There are no analytics, tracking or advertising cookies on PlusPoint.

We keep your data while your account exists. When you ask us to delete your account, we delete your personal data within 30 days. Payment records may be kept longer where tax or accounting law requires it.

You can ask us to show you the data we hold about you, correct it, or delete it, and you can withdraw your consent to us processing it (which means closing your account). Write to pluspointprep@gmail.com from your account’s email address and we will reply within ten working days.

Many of our students are under 18. If you are, please read this policy with a parent or guardian. School accounts are created by us and handed to the school, which is responsible for informing parents. A parent or guardian can ask us to see or delete their child’s data by writing to pluspointprep@gmail.com.

Data travels over encrypted connections (HTTPS), and access rules in the database keep each student’s data visible only to the people listed in section 4. If we change this policy, we publish the new version here with a new date. Other terms of use are in the public offer.
